Excluding spot colors from flattening
Complex print files are often build with layers and layers of transparent objects. This leads to big files. Transparency flattening can help with this problem, but until now technical colors like die lines and white separation where also flattened. With version 1.12.13 users can exclude these colors from flattening, so the technical vectors can stay intact while all other transparent objects can be flattened.

Crop images to page size
Images that are bigger than the size of the page can be trimmed to a specific page box. This avoids big, unused image content in PDF files.

Improvements:

Convert text to outlines
Text that has been converted to vector outlines is now separated by glyphs. It is no longer grouped as a whole line of text. This means that text containing multiple characters is outlined as multiple vector paths.

Saving files locally
Once files have been saved from a server to a local machine, they are not automatically checked in again when the “Save” command is used.

Fallback for pages sizes
We have added a default value for the page dimension that we display. The TrimBox dimensions now always use the MediaBox as fallback value.

Color values of hidden separations
Previous versions showed the color values of hidden separations. This behavior has changed. Now, only the values of displayed separations are shown in the “Analyse” tab.

Restructuring the “Actions” tab
The “Action” tab has been restructured to make the most frequently used commands easier to find.
